Brundage Mountain Resort plans 10 years of improvements

Brundage Mountain Resort has released its plan for 10 years of future improvements for the McCall ski resort.

The goal is to create a mult-season destination with priorities on enhancing the guest experience, adding new seasonal offerings and preserving the classic vibe.

“For years, we’ve been listening to feedback and suggestions from our guests,” said Bob Looper, Brundage Mountain president and CEO. “Three common themes always rise to the surface: add more lifts and terrain, improve the lodge facilities, and offer overnight accommodations. Our plan is to deliver on all three of those requests so we can continue to grow strategically and sustainably while preserving the classic Brundage vibe and family atmosphere.”

Brundage Mountain will be breaking ground next year on a new 20,000 square-foot lodge. It'll feature a food court, a full bar, and other venues for guests.

In the summer of 2022, Brundage Mountain plans to break ground on residential development near the base of the mountain. When completed, it'll give guests overnight accommodations at 21 single-family homesites, 22 cottages, and 45 townhomes.

Brundage Mountain also plans on expanding lifts and installing various other upgrades.

“People can see that things are happening here at Brundage Mountain,” said Ken Rider, general manager. “It’s exciting to be able to create a home-grown vision and make concrete plans to bring that to life in the not-so-distant future.”
