Deshaun Watson’s girlfriend Jilly Anais has been a mainstay in the headlines ever since his legal woes began.
A year ago, Watson found himself at the center of a series of lewd allegations regarding inappropriate behavior with massage therapists. Many salacious claims were made and numerous disturbing messages emerged.
Through it all, Anais stuck by Watson’s side – sometimes in the face of much chagrin.
This week, Anais went viral over Watson once more. This time due to what some perceive to be a controversial toast.
In a series of Instagram stories, Anais can be seen in a private suite at FirstEnergy Stadium leading a toast.
“Cheers ladies,” Anais is heard yelling in the video.
Given that her beau is now playing for the Cleveland Browns, many on social media were upset at what they perceive to be Anais’ continued disregard for the women who made allegations against Watson.
Whether that is a fair critique or not is for everyone to determine on their own.
Big picture, Anais has quite the following on social media – so her getting attention in this fashion is unavoidable.
Anais routinely goes viral for Instagram posts like this:
Watson will be suspended for the majority of the 2022-23 NFL season, but it will be fascinating to see how things shake out for both him and Anais when he returns.
Will fans be willing to forgive, forget and move on from everything that has happened over the past year? Will things like a son of one of the accusers coming out and suggesting his mother lied impact public perception?
Something interesting finally happened at an A’s game. https://t.co/haVcC4oxEQ

Or will the bad blood and ill will linger?
One way or another, an answer should come at some point in the next few months.
